RADFEST 2016 is at the Oval Tavern, a “Lively, buzzy, traditional watering hole” a stones throw from East Croydon station. The address, for those among you orienteering to the festival is 131 Oval Rd, Croydon, Greater London CR0 6BR.
Getting there by train
Travelling by public transport is by far the best way to get to RADFEST 2016. The Oval Tavern is literally five minutes walk (2 minutes run and 20 minutes crawl – we’ve tested it) from East Croydon station, which is a hub of travelling delight. You can arrive at East Croydon from all over London and the South Coast and, can travel from closer afield either on a bus, or a delightful tram. All public transport will stop at East Croydon.
There is also a taxi-rank – so, if you miss the last train, or are feeling flush, you can hop in a black cab and be home in a jiff.
Getting there by car
We’d advise not travelling by car. How will you drink all the lovely ales, wines and spirits stocked by our clever land-lady?
If you are a non-drinker, or simply fancy arriving in your Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, DB9 or three-wheeled trotter van, you can drive. The Oval is in a residential area, so there is some on-street parking (if you can find it). There are some car parks nearby too, but you’re on your own finding those!
